Our company philosophy is very simple. Most helicopter flight schools have Flight Instructors with low hours (typically low hundreds) who have no real life flight experience. These flight schools have inexperienced Instructors at low pay in order to increase profits. Typically as soon as these Flight Instructors reach 1000 hours, they leave for better paying jobs. You, the student, are paying the same rate for an inexperienced Instructor who will likely leave the company as soon as you have paid for his needed flight hours. Conversely, we offer thousands of hours of actual flight time experience and stability for the same price or less. The benefits to you are obvious.
We are very aware of costs - learning to fly a helicopter is not cheap. We have the edge that comes with experience. You benefit from this by working one on one with an experienced Flight Instructor who is easily able to recognize your challenges and quickly and effectively help you overcome them. That’s money in your pocket with time saved.
Our Chief Pilot/Chief Flight Instructor, Gene LaCoste, has thousands of hours and is military trained (two star General). Our training helicopters are brand new 300 CBI and 300C models. The 300C models are made specially for helicopter training and have been used for helicopter training by the US Army for years. Our training helicopters are fully instrumented and are extremely well maintained by Aircraft Precision Maintenance Inc. Your safety comes first!
Our Commercial Pilot helicopter training program is designed to take you from zero hours to Commercial Pilot in the fastest possible time, while providing you with the professional training at an affordable price. Our goal for you at All American Helicopters is to help you realize your full potential and be the best, most highly skilled Helicopter Pilot possible. The Commercial program includes Private and Commercial certificates.
Our Professional Pilot helicopter training includes the Private and Commercial certificates as well as an Instrument rating. Many employers require an Instrument rating. You will be more marketable and a better pilot if you have Instrument flight training.
Airplane Pilots, visit our Add Ons page if you would like to add a Helicopter rating to your existing Airplane certificate or rating.
We teach Private, Instrument and Commercial as individual courses if you are interested in only doing helicopter training for one of these certificates/ratings.
Be sure to ask if we have any helicopter training specials going on when you inquire about our flight training programs.
