Add-On Certificates and Ratings

Airplane Pilots, you too can make money as a Helicopter Pilot. Add a Helicopter rating onto your existing FAA Airplane certificate or rating today and tap into the Helicopter boom.

If you are an Airplane pilot and would like a Helicopter certificate, you do not need to take a written test for the Private, Instrument or Commercial add-on. The hour requirements are less, and since you are already a pilot, less ground school is needed.

Requirements: You need to hold an FAA Airplane certificate or rating You need a valid medical You must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
