Aviation Degree Program and Professional Pilot Helicopter Training Program

We are affiliated with Utah Valley University (UVU), a regionally accredited university. UVU offers a degree in Aviation Administration. You can enroll in our Professional Pilot helicopter training program and fly with us; while taking your Aviation Administration degree online at UVU. You are required to take a minimum of 3 credits per semester. Your certificates/ ratings from the Professional Pilot hliecopter training program with us are enhanced by you having a degree in Aviation Administration. This degree will give you the edge when applying for a job. You may transfer credits to UVU if you attended a regionally accredited university.

Our helicopter lessons that prepare you for your written and practical exams cover a lot of the same information in the UVU courses; both sets of education classes complement each other. The UVU courses are online, so you don’t need to physically attend the university. You do, however, have access to all the benefits offered by UVU. This includes financing as well as student counselors to assist you with your courses. You can take out a loan using the UVU Financial Services to cover your UVU classes and your helicopter flight training with us. You will be issued a check by UVU each semester to pay your tuition costs. You are also eligible for financial aid and grants offered by UVU.

You can learn more about the UVU Aviation Administration Degree program by visiting their website at: http://uvu.edu/aviation/. You may also contact the Student Support Center by calling toll-free 888-901-7192 or emailing them at avadmissions@uvu.edu

Veterans please contact the UVU Veterans office directly at 801-863-6457 or email them at veterans@uvu.edu

The rates for our Professional Pilot helicopter training program remain the same. Total cost estimate based on FAA minimums and our discounted rates package is $63,750. We have found that most students need more hours than the FAA minimums. Our students average $68,250 for the Professional Pilot helicopter training program.

Please note that the final total will vary per student. This is because students learn differently. We suggest that you budget for the average costs, rather than the FAA minimums.

Most students come into the office to get more information on the helicopter training programs we offer. Call us to schedule an appointment and we will sit down with you and discuss all options so that we may determine your best path forward together. We also recommend that you take advantage of our special offer and schedule an Introductory flight at the same time.

We do not require full payment up front for the certificate/rating you choose. You may "pay as you go" if that is your preference. We do, however, offer discounted rates for flight time packages of 25 hours and 50 hours. Pre-payment is required if you wish to purchase a discounted rates package. If you do not use all the hours purchased, a refund will be issued based on flight hours multiplied by full rate.
