We offer package pricing to reduce costs. Our experienced Flight Instructors work with you to ensure you attain your goals quickly and effectively. We have a proven track record for turning out excellent pilots. Our Success Stories speak for themselves.

Your Commercial pilot helicopter training enables you to get paid for doing something you love! You may now carry passengers and cargo for hire. This flight training literally takes your skills to the next level. You will now perfect the maneuvers you learned when you did your Private pilot helicopter training. You will be trained to execute your maneuvers with precision.

The minimum flight training time for Commercial Pilots is 150 hours. This applies to both Part 61 and Part 141 helicopter flight training. Ground helicopter lessons under Part 141 are a minimum of 30 hours.

If you are taking your Commercial Pilot helicopter training, all the hours that you built up during your Private and Instrument helicopter training count towards the FAA minimum requirement of 150 total flight hours.

For example, if you logged 40 hours during your Private helicopter training and 40 hours during your Instrument helicopter training, you will need an additional 70 hours to meet the FAA minimum of 150 hours for a Commercial Certificate. Most people have logged more than the FAA flight training minimums at this point. They subtract their total flight training hours to date from 150 hours to determine the number of flight hours left to obtain their Commercial. Most students are proficient enough at this point to successfully complete their Commercial flight training with 150 total hours (assuming Pilot-in-command flight time and other requirements are also met).

If you have done all your helicopter training with us, we will have worked with you to ensure that you have maximised your flight time so that you meet the FAA Commercial flight training requirements without having to fly additional hours. If you are doing the Professional Pilot Helicopter Training Program and are continuing on with your CFI/CFII, we will commence some of this training during your Commercial.

The following numbers are based on the FAA helicopter flight training minimums and our discounted rates package to give you an idea of costs. We are assuming that you have logged 80 flight training hours up till now (cumulative from your Private and Commercial), leaving you with a total of 70 flight hours required.
