Piston helicopters are mostly used for training pilots. Once you have enough hours to embark on your chosen career path, you will be in the market with other turbine pilots. Any turbine flight time will enhance your resume. In some cases, operators will not employ a pilot who has no training time in a turbine.
We offer a turbine transition package in an MD 500/OH6 Helicopter. The MD 500 series is an American family of light utility civilian and military helicopters.
